Mindo offers a variety of outdoor activities, including:

Bird watching: One of the top activities in Mindo, with around 200 bird species to observe. You can spot them from lookouts, parks, and trails, or opt for a specialized, longer tour to visit nearby reserves and farms. You can’t miss the hummingbird or toucans reserve.

Hike to the “Sanctuary of Waterfalls” with different difficulty levels.

Adventure sports: Canopy tours, cable car, river tubing, ziplining, and ATV 4-wheel riding.

Butterfly and orchid reserves.

Night tour for amphibians and reptiles.

Chocolate tasting or coffee tour.

Exploring the Cloud Forest for a few days allows you to fully appreciate this World Biosphere Reserve known as the Andean Chocó. You’ll pass through small towns, and there are nearby forests that can also be explored by bicycle.

Bicycle activity: Highly recommended for crossing the cloud forest, visiting small communities, and seeing waterfalls. Enjoy a peaceful ride with our customized bikes, helmets, and gloves.
